Terms of use
These terms apply when you use the iTopit app or website, operated by Galaphone Nigeria Limited ("Galaphone", "we", "us"), Block 1, Choice Plaza, Alkali Road, Kaduna, Nigeria. By creating an account you agree to them.
Your account
- You sign in with a Google account and must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you should have a parent's or guardian's permission.
- You choose a 4-digit transaction PIN that approves every purchase. Keep it private: anyone with your phone and PIN can spend your wallet balance.
- After five wrong PINs, purchases are paused for 30 minutes to protect you.
- We may suspend an account that is used for fraud, abuse or anything unlawful.
Buying airtime and data
- You can buy airtime and data for the networks shown in the app, for your own number or someone else's.
- Please check the phone number and network before you confirm. Airtime or data sent to a wrong number you entered cannot be recovered or refunded.
- Data plan prices, sizes and validity are set by the networks and may change.
- Most purchases arrive within seconds. Occasionally a network takes longer to confirm; the app shows these as "being confirmed".
Failed purchases and refunds
- If a purchase fails, you are not charged. Money already paid is returned to your iTopit wallet automatically.
- If you believe a purchase was charged but not received, contact support with the reference on your receipt within [7] days, and we will investigate with the network.
- Refunds of wallet money to a bank account can be requested from support. [Galaphone to confirm the process and any timeline.]
Your wallet
- The iTopit wallet holds money for buying airtime and data with iTopit. It is not a bank account and does not earn interest.
- Money is added by card or bank transfer through our payment provider, Paystack.
- If your account is closed, any remaining balance will be returned to you after we confirm your identity. [Galaphone to confirm.]
Promotions
From time to time we may offer promotions, such as extra airtime on top of what you pay. A promotion applies only as described in the app at the time of purchase, and we may change or end it at any time without notice.
Fair use
Don't use iTopit for anything unlawful, to resell in breach of network rules, to test stolen cards, or to interfere with the service. We may refuse or reverse transactions we reasonably believe are fraudulent.
Our responsibility
We work to keep iTopit available at all times, but the service depends on the networks, our suppliers and the internet, and may sometimes be unavailable. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, and our responsibility for any purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act or other Nigerian law.
